Check out a few examples of installations we’ve handled below.

LONG DRAW & REMOTE DISPENSING

Serving product from a remote location such as a back of house walk-in cooler, the keg can be 100’ or more from where the product is being served. Product lines can run overhead or underground between the service point and the keg.

SHORT DRAW SYSTEMS

Serving from a walk-in cooler that is behind the bar, product lines range from 5’-30’ in this type of system depending on many different variables such as available space, number of products being served and the type of gas blend being used.

DIRECT DRAW & KEGERATORS

This is the simplest way to serve product on draught. Beer lines will run between 5’-6’ long. This is a very common set-up for wine on draft as special, dual-temperature zone kegerators are available for serving red and white wine out of the same service station.

DRAFT LINE MAINTENANCE & CLEANING

Draft line cleanings are essential for all draft systems. Dirty beer lines cause major dispensing problems, will sour your product, and cause your business to lose profits.

Many beer distributors offer free draft cleaning services for their clients. Unfortunately, these distributors only service the lines attached to beer they carry and neglect the rest of the system. Some gnarly stuff can grow on those faucets, hoses, and couplers if not cleaned properly.

The Brewers Association recommends cleaning your draft system every 2 weeks.

Now, there is regular line cleaning, and then there is a Draft Horse line cleaning. Our re-circulation cleaning creates a TURBULENT flow, which is 80 times more effective than merely soaking a beer line with cleaning chemicals. Which is way better than what you get with line cleaning from your beer distributor.

DON'T DRINK DIRTY BEER.

If your draft system goes down for even one day, you’re seriously hurting your bottom line. Check out Micro Matic’s BEER CALCULATOR to see how much your business makes off of your draft system.
